I.
William Russell is a music producer, film composer, multi-instrumentalist and sound alchemist from Puerto Rico. Raised in the Caribbean, he’s honed his craft through fingerstyle guitar, blues, gospel, and boleros. Graduating from the Conservatory of Music of Puerto Rico in 2019 with a concentration in Jazz, he also delved into music production and film scoring. His musical journey explores a blend of acoustic elements with electronic sounds, reflecting his diverse influences and curiosity.
His work reflects an interplay between minimalist and maximalist elements, characterized by an unapologetic approach that captures both powerful emotions and subtle nuances. Collaborating with major networks and brands like Amazon Prime, Freeform/Hulu, Sephora, and Output, he has contributed to feature films, series, and documentaries, demonstrating his ability to deliver unique auditory experiences that enhance the story while under tight deadlines.
